Week 17!

How your baby's growing:
Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

How far along? 17 weeks

Maternity clothes? Some. I still am wearing regular pants but using the bella band

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: Still not as good as it used to be, but it's ok.

Best moment this week: Hearing the heartbeat on Friday

Movement: I keep thinking I feel flutters, but it is probably just gas.

Food cravings: Just ice cream:-)

Gender: I'm thinking a boy this week

Labor Signs: Nope

Belly Button in or out? Innie

What I miss: Wine

What I am looking forward to: Our ultrasound on Tuesday

Weekly Wisdom: It's okay to gain way more weight than you think you should or even what you should:-)

Milestones: Received my first baby purchase this week (breastfeeding cover) and I went maternity shopping.
