Da-da-da-da

Yup...he finally said it. I don't think he knows what it means but it's so darn cute to hear him say it:-) Now if only he would say, "mama!!"

I have lots to post about (grandmom's been here and is still here hence the lack of posting, Kokua Festival, Hilton Stay-cation and much more)!

8 months...already?!!

Yes, Ashton just turned 8 months old on the 14th. Time is really flying by!

Ashton is not so much of a baby anymore!
Ashton can now lay on his tummy without screaming bloody murder!
Ashton is eating all sorts of yummy food but has become quite picky.
He loves to give me kisses.
I caught him feeding Makua a puff today
He is a biter...but he only bites me?
He loves to drink water from a big boy cup.
He can hold his own bottle but still has a little issue tipping it all the way back
He has started to try and stand on his own but can only get up on his knees
Ashton is starting to get on all fours and push himself backwards
I think he may crawl after all
He only wants to be held in the late afternoon/early evenings.
He still puts everything in his mouth.
The remote is still his favorite toy
He loves going for walks and being outside.
He makes the weirdest noises sometimes
He tenses his whole body and makes a funny grunting noise when he wants me to pick him up (I really need to get this on video).
It is getting harder to take photos of Ashton since he is always moving.

Maybe he will crawl...

..here is a video of Ashton starting to lunge forward. He has really started to enjoy time on his hands and knees to much of my surprise. I guess I just needed to give him more time.

Happy Easter!

Today was a great day! Adam woke us up early since the Easter Bunny had stopped by for a visist and left Ashton a few things. Asthon got a few books, some 'games' for his V-tech learning system, a bubble machine and a few other toys that he will be able to enjoy once he's a little older.

We picked up breakfast from Koa's and hung around the house and played with the bubble machine. Ashton loved it and kept trying to catch the bubbles.

Later in the afternoon we went to Kristin and Tom's house for Easter dinner.

It was great. Lots of friends to enjoy good food with;-)

Easter Bunny!!!

Last weekend Adam and I took Ashton to visit the Easter Bunny. I thought for sure he would cry and scream....instead....

....he was a such a ham!! Everyone was ohhing and ahhing at how cute he was. He was smiling bigger than I've ever seen him smile! He is such a happy baby!
